This detail page shows several photos of the book to show what a first edition looks like.  The images are original photos taken of my personal copy of the first edition book. 

Curtains for Three (1951):

• The dustjacket has some unique features:
• The front flap has the price ($2.50) at the top and "The Viking Press New York" at the bottom. 
• The back flap has two lines about Viking Press above "Printed in USA".
• The copyright page has the colophon and "Printed in the USA by Colonial Press, Inc." on it. 
• The book cover is grayish cloth with a red graphic and title, and a black line on the cover, with a black line and red lettering on the spine.
• The first edition measures 1.03" x 5.7" x 8.3"
